Readers Harvest, formerly known as Han Language Centre, has evolved, based on its strong foundation in Chinese Language and this will remain its core moving forward.

Based on an integrated and systematic approach, focusing on Chinese Language, Readers Harvest offers a range of Chinese enrichment programmes for all ages. The centres will facilitate Chinese enrichment lessons, building long-lasting language capabilities starting from the children’s young formative years.

We provide a balanced environment where children can learn while achieving the mastery of Chinese Language, with progressive literacy and writing skills while having fun.

The Story

 

Readers Harvest evolved naturally, as a result of running Chinese Language programmes for over 16 years.
The time was right to take the next step: to create a holistic Chinese environment where students and their families could further benefit in both language and culture, ensuring an integrated, wholesome and long lasting learning experiences that can be applied both at home and in school.

About the name “Readers Harvest"
The name “Readers Harvest” comes from the concept of ensuring that all children learn the basics of the Chinese Language though reading. And when they become readers, they harvest progression by understanding and comprehension of the Chinese Language, bringing about confidence when taking on new challenges.

Our programmes and integrated approach will help embark students on a life long journey in Chinese Language and Culture, enabling them to develop a strong foundation in Mandarin and build the confidence to master the language – just as the two “bites” signifying the student’s eventual harvest in their language journey.

Based on the humble beginnings of a Singapore story, the red symbolises proud Singaporean roots, aiming to go beyond in time to come.

经过16年的教学实践与积累，我们致力于为学生创造一个良好的华语学习环境，确保每一个学生无论是在学校还是在家里，都能够自如的应用华语，让每一个孩子获得持续并且愉悦的学习体验，最终获得收获。

关于“诚心”。“诚心”秉承我们一贯的教学理念，即确保所有的孩子能够通过阅读和学习巩固华语基础，提升华语水平；让每一位华语学习者通过阅读和理解华语文章，取得长足的进步；让学习者面对每一次的挑战时，能够提升掌控华语的信心。
我们的课程安排与教学方法，将有助于学生在学习华语与汉文化的漫长旅途中， 越战越勇。———— 恰如我们标志上的两个“牙印”，象征着孩子们在征服华语的旅途中的最终战果。

起源于新加坡谦卑的起步传承，这个红色的徽章，代表了新加坡自豪的根源，为了我们在未来超越期望，再创辉煌。
